New Patients

Due to the time commitment of the first appointment, all new patients must confirm their appointment by 5pm the business day prior. We will call you the business day before and we must receive a verbal or email confirmation that you will be at your appointment. If you do not have voicemail set up, we will attempt to call twice the business day before. However, it is ultimately your responsibility to call back to confirm or cancel your appointment. New patients that do not confirm their appointment will have their appointment canceled and this time slot will be offered to other patients. All New Patients that confirm their appointment but fail to show up for their first appointment will not be permitted to reschedule with our office.

To save time on your first visit you may download, print off and fill out the paperwork ahead of time. If you are unable to do this before your first visit, please arrive 45 minutes before your appointment time to fill out this paperwork. Please be on time for your appointment and we strive to see patients right at their scheduled appointment time.

On your first visit you will spend about 30 minutes with Dr. Ryan Gutierrez. During this time he will perform a consultation to learn more about your health history and current health issues. You can discuss any questions or concerns you have as well. He will then perform a full chiropractic examination. Upon completion of the exam, he will determine if you are a good candidate for chiropractic care. If Dr. Ryan feels he can help you, he will perform a chiropractic adjustment on your first visit. After your adjustment, Dr. Ryan will discuss your chiropractic course of action. We do not use treatment plans in our office as every patients needs are unique. Dr. Ryan will discuss what he thinks it will take for you to reach your health goals.

Follow-up appointments will last approximately 15 minutes. During your appointments you will receive your chiropractic adjustment. Dr. Ryan may also give you exercises to perform at home to better facilitate your adjustments.

Medicare Patients:

We are a NON-PARTICIPATING PROVIDER with Medicare. Medicare patients pay the Medicare rate at the time of service for ACUTE CARE ADJUSTMENTS ONLY. For MAINTENANCE/CHRONIC CARE MEDICARE PATIENTS YOU PAY OUR REGULAR ADJUSTMENT FEE OF $55 SINCE THOSE ARE NON-COVERED SERVICES. We will file your claims on your behalf. If you should have any reimbursement, Medicare will reimburse the patient directly. Medicare only covers SPINAL manipulations that are medically necessary for ACUTE CARE. MEDICARE DOES NOT COVER NOR REIMBURSE FOR CHRONIC, MAINTENANCE OR EXTREMITY ADJUSTMENTS, THEREFORE THESE SERVICES ARE CHARGED OUR STANDARD OFFICE FEES.

Non-Medicare Patients:

We offer affordable self-pay rates. We do not bill third party or private insurance directly. We can provide you with a super bill that you can submit to your insurance company for POSSIBLE reimbursement. We are out-of-network with all insurance companies. All payments are due when services are rendered.
